Come and join Somerset Business Mums for a morning of networking, coffee, tea and pastries at the gorgeous Mad Swans on Tuesday 9 June, from 10am-12noon.

On the morning we will get the opportunity to hear from Suzanne Addicott, Executive Director of Root Connections, whose talk will focus on the What, Why and How of Social Enterprise and what it is like to run a CIC. She will also share some information about the services provided by Root Connections.

Suzanne, and her husband Rob, are two of the founders and visionaries behind Root Connections. Living at Manor Farm, they were driven by a desire to use the farm as a force for positive change—supporting the local community and helping to address rural homelessness.

As directors of Root Connections, they play an active role behind the scenes, supporting both the garden and the on-site homeless hostel, Dairy House, where their commitment helps ensure residents are welcomed, supported, and able to rebuild their lives.
